Chrysocalla is often confused with turqoise because of its blue-green color. Like turquoise, chrysocalla is used primarily for making jewelry, but is softer and more fragile.

Chrysocall's chemical name is hydrous copper silicate, Cu2H2Si2O5(OH)4 It is found in the oxidation zone of copper deposits. When chrysocalla is found on the ground, it is a strong indicator that valuable copper deposits can be found beneath the surface.

Pieces are untumblaed and at least 1-1/2" long on their longest size. Price is per piece.
