Description
Iron pyrite, also known as "Fools Gold" is iron sulfide (FeS2) that
forms in cubic crystals with a shiny , gold color. The color is usually
too sharp for real gold, however hence the 'fools' part of fools gold.
These Pyrite samples are approxzimately 3/4" to 1.5" on their long side and are roughly
roundish in shape. Samples will vary in size and shape, however.
