Description
Genuine Dinosaur Bone!
Imagine a world of Giant Carnivores. Pteranadon soaring though the air, Herbivores reaching several stories high, Diplodocus up to 90 feet in length. This was reality in the Rocky Mountains during the Mesozoic Era, known as the age of the dinosaur; 65 to 250 million years ago. An inland sea once existed where the Rock Mountains are now. Aincinet rivers carries Dinosaur carcasses downstrea to this sea; their bones settled in the sand, eventually turning into rock. As a result, fossils from hundreds of creatures are concentrated in this relatively small area. Identifying each Dinosaur fossil takes time and experience. Can you identify this one?
Each dino bone is unique. Shapes and sizes will vary. Dino bone is roughly the size of a quarter.
