These placemats are a great way for kids to learn at the dinner table! Measuring 17-12" x 12" with durable lamination and rounded corners, they make a great way to cover all sorts of subjects. They are so inexpensive that you can buy a bunch and rotate them throughout the week! The front side shows 20 full-color images of common and rare rocks & minerals and the geologic category they belong to. On the backside the rocks & minerals are shown once more (in black and white) but now the child must write the category the rock belongs to using a dry-erase marker, making for a neat quick quiz.
