Description
Iron Pyrite, or Iron Sulfide is usually found in loose nuggets made up of small crystals, or in larger cubes. But a rare formation of Iron Pyrite is the 'sun', where a disc is formed with smaller crystals on the inside and larger crystals on the outside that make a 'sun'. These Iron Pyrite suns are rare and vary in shape and size. These are Class 'B' suns and may have cracks in their surface but are otherwise intact. The large size suns are 2"+ in diameter.
