Description
Iron pyrite, also known as "Fools Gold" is iron sulfide (FeS2) that forms in cubic crystals with a shiny , gold color. The color is usually too sharp for real gold, however hence the 'fools' part of fools gold. These Pyrite samples are approximately 1.5" long on their long side and are roughly roundish in shape. Samples will vary in size and shape, however.
