Need an affordable stereo zoom microscope? The Ample Scientific SMZ7 provides a generous 0.65-4.5x zoom range on its objective, which when combined with the two 10x stereo microscope eyepieces gives a generous 6.5 - 45x magnification range! The microscope provides a generous 100mm working distance and the eyepieces are adjustable from 50mm-75mm to give comfortable viewing.

This model provides no built in illumination. It is meant to be used with a fiber optic illuminator ring or other external light source. The head is trinocular, with a 45˚ angle and is 360˚ Rotatable. The trinocular can be used to house a video eyepiece without interfering with regular viewing. The head can be removed and places on a boom stand for specialty viewing or for use on objects too large to fit on the included platform.
