The Sky-Z Limitless is the largest member of our Wind Turbine family. With powerful curriculum components that focus on Energy and 3D Printing our kits stand alone in the Education and Maker industries. The Sky-Z Limitless kit derives its name from the large number of variables (30+) that can to be changed during electricity labs. Standing at a maximum of 30” in (762 mm) fully built, the Sky-Z Limitless platform has over 20 possible wind/solar labs that can be tested. All of our Wind Energy kits come in either AC (Alternating Current) or DC (Direct Current) configurations, the difference being in the type of electricity generator that the turbine will use. All kits come with a 6 Blade hub that allows users to use anywhere from 1-6 Blades in their design.

  • Generator Configuration Options:
    • AC (Alternating Current)- Electricity is produced through magnetic induction using 4X 200 rotation coils and 4 magnets.
    • DC (Direct Current)- Electricity is produced through a DC motor.
  • Kit Level DC:
    • Wind, Solar, and Electricity Kit: Sky-Z Limitless Wind Turbine Platform, .9W (Watt) Solar Panel, LED Light Lab, Buzzer Sound Lab, Battery Lab, Light Bulb Stand Lab, 6 X Multimeter/Breadboard Labs, 7X Solar Power Labs, 1X Hybrid Wind/Solar Electricity Lab

  • DC kits can be used across all grade levels elementary and above.
  • All kit options comes withsix 6in (152.4 mm) Blades and a 6 Blade hub that can be used to house alternative blade sizes and designs.
  • Blade hubs have a built in blade pitch adjustment variable.
  • DC Configuration outputs a maximum of 4.5 V.
