Polarizing film takes regular randomized polarizing light and lets only light with one polarizing orientation through. If you take two pieces of polarizing film and place them at 90° to each other they will block out all light. Polarization is used in microscopy, stress testing, light control, and hundreds of other purposes.

Mounted in slides, this pair of polarizing film can be used for various optical experiments, microscope work, and other uses.. Overall size is 2" x 2". Active film area is 1-3/4" x 1".
