This molecular model set contains a variety of color plastic spheres to represent various atoms. The atoms have holes at specific angles to accept plastic rods representing covalent and ionic bonds. This ball-and-spoke molecular model set comes with 245 plastic spheres, 125 hydrogen atom models with connectors attached and 185 flexible, plastic connecting rods. Balls are 21 mm or 26 mm in diameter representing different species and valences, and the hydrogen models have 12.5 mm spheres. This set allows extensive models of inorganic and organic molecules to be made. Includes storage case with periodic table.
