Shipping Rates

Products ordered online will ship via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. . We do our best to ship your order within 1 business day of your placing the order. Note that Lab Furniture, some Science Instruments and certain advanced Labware items may take longer to ship depending on several factors such being as built-on-demand or other issues. We try to expedite such orders as fast as possible and will inform the buyer if there is any unreasonable delay. Please feel free to contact us at sales@spectrum-scientifics.com

Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico will be shipped Parcel Post USPS.We cannot ship oversize items to  AK, HI, PR via the website. Please contact us for details at sales@spectrum-scientifics.com to make shipping arrangements.

Use the chart below to determine shipping and handling costs for the US. Note that some items (such as telescopes) are oversized and require an additional Oversize Shipping fee in addition to the regular shipping costs. Note: For Alaska and Hawaii this chart only applies to non-Oversize items, please contact us for shipping charges on Oversize items.

Express Shipping

If you wish for items to be shipped by FEDEX or UPS Overnight or 2-day, please call us at 215-667-8309 to make arrangements. Express shipping is contingent on product availability and may not be available late in the day. Certain items, such as Lab Furniture and other items may not be shipped express. At present the website cannot handle express shipping. Please contact us to make arrangements.

Shipping to Canada:

Spectrum Scientifics is happy to ship items to Canada via Fed International Ground. Please note that by contract we are not allowed to ship Orion telescopes, telescope accessories, and binoculars out of the US. All other items may be shipped to Canada without restriction. Spectrum Scientifics is not responsible for delays or charges caused by customs. The following rates apply:

International Orders.

Spectrum Scientifics welcomes international orders,however our website is not presently set up for online international shipping. We can ship items to most other countries with proper arrangements. Certain countries may not shipped to per the US State Department's regulations. All International orders must be paid in advance.

Please email sales@spectrum-scientifics.com with a list of the items you wish to purchase and we will be happy to get you a quote with product costs and shipping costs. Shipping cost quotes will not includes any import taxes, duties, etc. Most international orders can be arranged using PayPal as the intermediary. International orders may also be paid with check, money order or electronic bank transfer (see below).

Note that certain items, such as plant kits, chemicals, and similar items may not be shipped internationally. Also note that your nation's electrical power will probably not work with products made for US electrical standards. In some cases there may be versions that use other electrical standards available. Certain companies warranties may be void or modified if the products are transported outside the US. Contact us for details.

Note: Spectrum Scientifics is contractually disallowed to ship Orion telescopes, binoculars and telescope accessories internationally. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Purchase Orders

Spectrum Scientifics welcomes purchase orders with standard Net 30 terms for companies & schools that pass a credit check. Please include a credit sheet with your first order. Purchase orders may be faxed to 215-965-1524 or emailed to sales@spectrum-scientifics.com. Completed W9 forms are available on request via email or fax. Spectrum will happily fill out any extra forms needed for your institution to become a vendor, please email or fax them to the numbers & addresses above.

Checks

Spectrum Scientifics accepts check for purchases. Please note that funds must clear before items ship. Checks that are returned are subject to a service charge.

Electronic Funds Transfer

Spectrum Scientifics accepts funds transfers as payment. Note that a $10 fee applies for international wire transfers. Domestic wire transfers are at no extra charge. Please contact us for details.

Spectrum Scientifics can provide quotes upon request. Please quote fax request to 215-965-1524 or email sales@spectrum-scientifics.com To notify Spectrum of a bid, please fax or email the bid information to the above number or address. Discount prices may apply to schools and teachers with a minimum purchase amount on select items. Contact us for details.

Collect Shipping

In order to minimize your shipping costs, we can ship foreign or domestic orders collect using either UPS or FEDEX with proper arrangements (established freight carriers may be used when needed). The handling fee for collect orders domestically is $6, and $15 for foreign orders. Collect shipping must be done with parties with UPS or FEDEX accounts, no exceptions.

Custom Imprinted or Engraved Items

Selected items from Spectrum Scientifics can be engraved with your company's logo or address when purchased in quantity. Quantities and set-up pricing will vary from item to item so please contact us at 215-667-8309 or sales@spectrum-scientifics.com for details.

Damaged Products

If your product arrives damaged, please immediately notify the carrier.
