Description
 
Mugglestone was most likely formed at the bottom of ancient lakes or other standing water. Minerals that precipitated out of the water accumulated on the floor of the body of water and created bedding planes. Mugglestone is composed of layers of yellow jasper, red jasper, hematite, and tigereye. When cut and polished, the banded layers of Mugglestone are very interesting and quite beautiful
