The famous Magdeburg Hemisphere experiment was a demonstration of the power air pressure exerted when air is pumped out of a pari fo spheres. This economical kit demonstrates these princinples without expensive metal hemispehre that require special pumps, or by cheating and using suction cups. Piece together this 1" diameter hemisphere and try to pull them apart! The attachable rings will let you determine just how much force you need to seperate the spheres.
