Lapis Lazuli is a deep metamorphic rock that us found primarily in Afganistan, Pakistan, Russia, and the Andes mountatins in Chile. It has been valued as a stone for thousands of years for jewelry and creating ultramarine, an ink pigment. Lapis may be infused with Pyrite (giving the gold streaks) Sodalite (lighter blue) or calcite.

This Lapis sphere is well-polished and sourced from Afganistan. It measures 2" in diameter. Infusions may vary from sample to sample.
